Danica Patrick & Matt Kenseth Announced as FOX Guest Analysts After the Successful Two-Race Stint of Tony Stewart Comes to an End
When FOX Sports announced Tony Stewart as a guest analyst for the Busch Clash and the Daytona 500, it was received with mixed responses. But now that both those races are behind us, the divided views on Stewart have turned unanimous – everyone loved Tony Stewart (surprise?). The decision to bring in a former driver as a guest analyst really worked for FOX, who now have another former Stewart-Haas driver in line for the role, Danica Patrick.
The 39-year-old who last raced in NASCAR at the Daytona 500 in 2018, will join Clint Bowyer and Mike Joy for the Phoenix and Las Vegas Cup Series races in March.
As for the upcoming race in Fontana, Bowyer and Joy will be joined by Matt Kenseth in the FOX booth.

Why is Tony Stewart not continuing with FOX beyond Daytona?
Although there’s no official statement or reason for Tony Stewart leaving the FOX booth despite a flood of positive reviews, there could be two reasons behind the same which are worth looking at.
First is the fact that FOX Sports is taking the experiment of two constants and one guest analyst in rotation all the way to the end of the season.
Then, and this is more important, the reason why Tony Stewart is leaving his role as a guest analyst is simply because the man has a lot on his plate already. We all know Stewart has his own NASCAR team, Stewart-Haas Racing, as well as a team in the World of Outlaws.

On top of that, this season he is entering into NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series for the first time alongside his wife and drag racer, Leah Pruett.
So these two, in combination, could be enough reasons for both FOX and Tony Stewart to go their separate ways after his successful stint as a guest analyst.
