How Vicky Pattison kept fiance Ercan’s romantic proposal under wraps on luxury Dubai holiday

VICKY Pattison took to Instagram to reveal to her fans that her fiancé Ercan had got down on one knee on their Dubai holiday.

The star managed to hide her proposal – which happened on Friday – from her social media following for a number of days before breaking the big news with a series of snaps.

Despite continuing to post from restaurants and rooftop pools, Vicky, 34, was able to keep her engagement secret until today’s reveal.

The TV star confirmed she said “Yes!” and shared the sweet snaps exclusively with The Sun, before posting them to Instagram.

Just hours before, I’m A Celeb winner and ex-Geordie Shore star had shared a bikini snap, cleverly hiding her ring finger out of sight.

It was one of many posts that saw Vicky keeping her wedding ring finger away from the camera in a bid to keep the secret.

On Sunday, the star posted her first snap from Dubai’s luxurious Aura Skypool – where she could be seen sipping on an alcoholic drink.

The star ensured that the photo was taken on her right, keeping her left hand – and the sparkling ring – blocked from view by her abs.

A second snap, on Monday morning, showed Vicky dressed in a matching two-piece outfit, with black and white detailing.

The TV personality hid her left hand in her blonde hair, pushing it away from her face to reveal her glamorous make-up look.

Looking back on their “amazing five day” break in the UAE, as she teased fans that they had plenty of “adventures” during the luxury break.

Vicky followed up with a third post, showing just her chest and middle in a bright blue bikini as she kicked back reading her book.

Elsewhere on her stories, Vicky hid her hand on her hip amongst a floral shirt as she continued to conceal the huge diamond ring.

The couple last week sparked rumours they’d gotten engaged after sharing photos sipping champagne at a table adorned with roses – as Vicky gushed “I love you Ercan”.

Alongside another image from their stunning meal, the reality star admitted: “I’m honestly the most content I have ever been.”

Fans started to speculate that a wedding could be on the cards.

‘ALWAYS YOU’

Then, Vicky took to Instagram to reveal the proposal had happened – as she gushed over her soon-to-be other half, Towie star Ercan, 28.

I choose you and I’ll choose you over and over without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat… It’ll always be you,” she wrote to her beau.

It comes after Vicky told The Sun she would be happy to propose to Ercan and that she was ready to commit.

 “I do think I’m getting to that stage that I’m ready to make that commitment to someone – not just anyone … Ercan,” she said.

“I’m not sending pictures of engagement rings or anything like that, I’m just really content. Yes marriage would be nice but it’s not going to affect how happy I am.”

She added: “I’d have no qualm asking Ercan to marry me but as long as I still got a nice ring out of it.”

Vicky and Ercan first moved in together in 2019, nine months after her split with former fiancé John Noble.

It was shortly after this she found love again with former Towie star Ercan – who she met in February 2019 and has been loved-up with since.

LAYING PLANS

Vicky has also revealed she has now frozen her eggs – to lift the pressure on her to have a family before Ercan is ready.

Over the weekend she told how she doesn’t want them to rush into having kids.

She said: “I’ve put baby dream on ice. I haven’t mourned the loss of my 20s at all… they were completely taken over by feeling insecure, not being confident in my body, feeling lost and not knowing who I could trust.

“Now I am in my 30s, I am going from strength to strength – I know myself and I have contentment.

“I have a man who loves me just as much in my baked bean-stained trackies as when I am dolled up to the nines, having spent three hours in hair and make-up.

“But at 34, I have decided to freeze my eggs. Ercan is only 28 and I have chosen the Cougar life!”
