Apple ‘leak’ reveals new shocking iPhone 14 design and fans may be disappointed

A SHOCKING iPhone 14 design decision may have just been leaked.

According to reports, the upcoming iPhone’s screen could come as a disappointment to many fans.

A report from The Elec suggests that the cheaper iPhone 14 models may not have 120Hz ProMotion displays, which means they’ll have a slower refresh rate.

The higher the refresh rate of your phone screen, the less blur and motion while you’re using it.

High refresh rates make for a smoother and quicker user experience.

Displays like this can even be found on midrange smartphones these days.

Samsung poked fun at Apple last year when the tech giant finally announced that the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max would get 120Hz ProMotion displays.

The official Samsung Mobile US account tweeted: “We’ve been refreshing at 120Hz for a while now…”

Apple fans were hoping that all the models in the iPhone 14 range would come with 120Hz ProMotion displays.

Economic Daily News, which is known for its accurate Apple leaks and rumors reporting, has said that the design for the iPhone 14 has been finalized.

It says the iPhone 14 will now begin a testing phase in late February or early March.

This may seem pretty early given that Apple usually launches its iPhones around September but it’s common for the firm to test its products for months.

The testing phase of any iPhone sees leaks and rumors build up even more so we could see photo leaks or even videos appearing online soon.

As with all leaks and rumors, we have to wait for official word from Apple before any iPhone feature can be known for sure.
