Liam Payne and fiancée Maya Henry’s relationship strong as ever as he whisks her away for luxurious Costa Rica holiday and golfing trip

Liam Payne and his fiancée Maya Henry enjoyed a romantic getaway in Costa Rica for a luxurious Valentine’s break while he also indulged in an exclusive eco golfing resort.
The One Direction singer, 28, splashed out on the 10,000-mile round trip for the romantic winter break with 21-year-old model Maya.
The luxurious trip comes months after the couple reunited following a split last summer, with the pair seemingly stronger than ever.
However, Maya has a bit of competition in the passion department it seems, as Liam’s interest in golf is growing, with the multimillionaire pop star taking a turn at the exclusive eco golf course Ocean Course after flying his lady halfway across the globe.
On its website, the course describes itself as ‘Eco golf at its best’ and boasts features such as ‘panoramic vistas’, ‘white-faced monkeys in the trees overhead’ and ‘100 species of birds’.
A source close to Liam told The Sun: ‘Liam has really fallen in love with the sport. He’s the first to admit he’s not the best player but to his credit, he’s putting in the hours. He’d the costal course online and was desperate to try it out.

‘As he had a gap in his schedule he and Maya flew out to Costa Rica for a few days but they are now home.’
Liam and Maya also opted for commercial flights instead of taking private jets.
Earlier this year, Liam gushed about getting into golf, after being inspired by his bandmate Niall Horan.
The Irish singer, 28, has been a keen golfer his whole life and has spent the last 10 years on as many famous golf courses as possible.

In January, it was reported that Liam was ‘learning to play golf’ in order to go head-to-head with his bandmate.
Speaking to The Sun, Liam said: ‘He’s good but I’m going to try to be better.
‘This is my year of playing golf.’
Away from golf, though, things seem to be going swimmingly for Liam and Maya, who became engaged in August 2020, before splitting in summer last year for three months.
Maya hails from Texas and as well as modelling, appeared on the reality show Hanging With Los Henrys with her family, including her father, attorney Thomas J Henry.
She was first linked to Liam shortly after the One Direction star split from girlfriend of two years Cheryl in July 2018.
