Bryson informed his fans that he doesn’t want to play unless he is 100% ready to do it. He said, “Right now, like 90%, I don’t wanna go out there and hurt myself even more, and not be 100 % ready for the rest of the season.” The golfer further explained that he wouldn’t want to make an early comeback and take more time off. Although it was a hard decision for him to make, he had to choose his health over passion this time.
Furthermore, Bryson thanked the Palmer family for supporting him and his professional career.

How did the Mad Scientist get injured?
Since the news of his injuries spread, fans have been cited many reasons for the same. According to most of the spectators, the injuries happened because of Bryson’s speed training and power hitting.

However, Bryson revealed the true reason behind his injuries through his social media. DeChambeau explained that he slipped and fell before the Saudi International, which caused him injuries.
The golf world was excited to see the Mad Scientist hit the bomb and defend his title at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. However, health comes first. If the golfer is not confident that he can deliver his 100% in the course without getting injured again, it is better not to participate at all.
