‘Never Saw You Winning Tonight’: Wrestling World Happy With WWE After a Long Time as New United States Champion Gets Crowned on Raw

Damian Priest defended the WWE United States Championship many times during his title reign. Last week after his match against Shelton Benjamin, Priest demanded a former world champion to answer his open challenge. Finn Balor came out to answer the challenge issued by Priest for tonight’s RAW episode. The fans already loved this match in the arena last Monday when it was announced.

Damien Priest won the US Title in August 2021 at SummerSlam, defeating Sheamus. His Championship Reign lasted for over 6 months. On tonight’s episode of his reign ended as Finn Balor defeated Priest to win the US Championship. This will be Balor’s first reign as US Champion. Balor showed Priest how a world championship-caliber opponent is.

The fans in the arena were fully into the match and cheering Finn Balor throughout the match. When Balor pinned one,two,three on Priest, the arena erupted to celebrate the win of Finn Balor. Fans wanted to see Balor with a championship and this victory came out of nowhere for the fans.

After Balor won the title, WWE universe captured social media to congratulate him for his victory. The supporters of The Prince were finally happy to see him winning a title since losing the NXT Championship last year.

Balor won the United States Championship defeating Damian Priest on tonight’s RAW episode. After the match Damian turned on Balor. He gave Balor a beat down and also said that he will take his title back.
