WATCH: Islam Makhachev Left Joe Rogan Bemused With His Call-Out of Floyd Mayweather After UFC Fight

Islam Makhachev is one of the most promising fighters in the lightweight division right now. The Russian fighter trains under the tutelage of one of the greatest fighters in UFC history, Khabib Nurmagomedov.

As of March 1st, 2022, Makhachev stands third in UFC’s lightweight rankings. The fighter has had notable wins over some top fighters like Dan Hooker, Thiago Moisés, and Drew Dober.

In his past octagon interviews, the fighter has called out fighters like Brock Lesnar and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.

Check out Makhachev’s hilarious call out to Floyd Mayweather, which had even Khabib laughing with the fans.

He said,” Hey Dana, I want a money fight. Give me Mayweather Wooo!” His call out left Joe Rogan astounded, and Rogan asked, “Did you say, Mayweather!?”

After another win, Makhachev joked, “Hey DC, tell this guy I deserve for top 15. Or I want to fight with Brock Lesnar. “
