Lewis Hamilton Set to Feature in Unique Docu-Series Surrounding Xtreme-E Team X44

Aside from the much-awaited season 4 of the Netflix series Drive To Survive, Lewis Hamilton is all set to make an appearance in another documentary series soon. The seven-time F1 world champion will feature in a unique docu-series that will have his Extreme E Team X44. The series is to be developed by Neo Studios under the Eleven group.

Neo Studios are a subsidiary of Eleven Group. Eleven Group is a sports media group based in Santa Monica. Interestingly, the group belongs to Aser Ventures Family, that owns a team named Leeds United in the English Premier League.

The Group is developing a series named ‘Race for Change’ (w/t) that will track the very first season of all-electric rally Extreme-E. Lewis has his own team competing in this Extreme-E series named X44.

Interestingly, the Briton’s team faces fierce competition from his old rival, Nico Rosberg. Nico Rosberg has his team named Rosberg X Racing and gives stiff competition to Hamilton’s X44.

What’s next for Lewis Hamilton?

This will be Hamilton’s 16th year in Formula 1. The British driver has tasted the pinnacle of success post the Hybrid era. From dominating the sport to becoming the living legend, the 37-year-old has come a long way.

As Lewis takes himself to fight another season, where his main target will be securing his eighth world title. The Briton has already picked up seven titles and was a lap away from breaking the 8 world title record last year. However, the much controversial Abu Dhabi race ended up on a bad note for the former McLaren man, as he had to let the title go in a manner nobody expected.

Soon after the incident, Hamilton was away from public appearances for some months. The Abu Dhabi debacle hit Lewis very hard. He seemed visibly very upset, and so were the team and the fans. Despite the setback, the seven times world champion came back to take his #44 seat with The Silver Arrows.

As of now, only Michael Schumacher has as many titles as Lewis. Hence, it’ll be interesting to see if Sir Lewis Hamilton can pull the miracle off and break the record by winning his eighth championship. Only time will tell.
