Leaked Fortnite Skin Has Fans Disappointed With Popular Spider-Man Character – “Should Not Have Hyped Myself Up”
Fortnite has established itself as a juggernaut in the gaming industry. The free-to-play, live-service battle royale has been acquiring characters from virtually all franchises. It seems Fortnite has acquired characters from all forms of pop culture. From the pop-star Arianna Grande to Halo’s Master Chief, the game has acquired a lot of characters in the form of skins.
The success and popularity of Spider-Man have made the character a house-old name. The web-slinging character is now known to all forms of the audience, including the younger side.
Young audiences coincidentally contribute a significant portion of the player base of Fortnite as well. Because of this, it came to no one’s surprise when Spider-Man was also recruited by the game as well.
Adding on, it looks like Fortnite intends to expand upon the Spider-Man universe. Recent leaks have reported that a character very close to Spider-Man will be making an appearance in the form of a skin as well.

Spider-Man’s love interest to join Fortnite
Credible leaks have pointed towards the likeliness of Spider-Man’s iconic love interest, Mary Jane, to arrive as a skin as well.

While her being in the game with Spider-Man does seem fitting, the leak was received with mixed feelings by the community. The leak did manage to get a lot of people excited for the skin. However, on the other hand, other people were underwhelmed and felt that the news of leaks was over-hyped considering the end result.

While the skin has been received as mediocre, the community should not lose all hope. The skin that has been leaked is one of the few that have managed to be decrypted yet. Spider-Man has a huge roster of allies and villains. There is no guaranteeing that these iconic characters won’t be making an appearance in Fortnite as well.
Adding on, after the massive success that was No Way Home, there is a possibility of other Spider-Men making an appearance as well. Who knows, we just might see a Toby or Andrew skin leaked in the future for Fortnite as well!
