YouTuber Holly Smith, aka Holly Vlogs, took to TikTok to share her clever trick, as she explained: “I wanted to come on here with a money saving tip because I told this to someone today and it just blew their mind and it can save you a fortune.

“Now you know when you go shopping on ASOS or In The Style or any clothing website and you go to the clearance section and they have size two, size four, size six and they never have your adult size?

“Buy the small sizes for your kids – they fit them perfectly. That’s what I do and I save a fortune.”

Holly then showed a long-sleeved ribbed pink top with a rainbow emblem and a purple floral top that she’d picked up for mere pounds in the sale.

“To show you what the sizes are like, these are two recent purchases that I bought for my 10 year old,” she continued.

“This is a really cute rainbow top, this was down from £26 to only £3 and this purple one was down from £15 to £2.

“As you can see, size two is small enough and it will fit a 10 year old.”

Holly was quickly praised for the money saving hack, with one person writing: “U have the best tips!”

“I did this for works book day I bought a grey dress for Roald Dahl witches costume…never thought about normal outfits,” another person added.
