Iowa tornado live updates – Deaths ‘confirmed’ as weather videos show damage in Winterset and Des Moines

SEVERE tornados have swept across Iowa since late Saturday night, destroying homes and causing fatalities in their path.

Search and rescue operations are being conducted in Winterset, according to WHO13.

Elsewhere, officials are tending to additional damage and power outages.

Parts of Vinton are experiencing structural damage, downed power lines, gas leaks, and more, according to KCRG.

At least six people are reported to have died according to officials, but no names have been released yet.
