Kristen Stewart flips the bird at Vladimir Putin as she joins Julia Fox, Lily James on more at Film Independent Spirit Awards

Kristen Stewart flipped off Russian President Vladimir Putin as a show of solidarity with Ukraine at the Film Independent Spirit Awards on Sunday night.
The Spencer actress was captured on camera at the ceremony over the weekend after hosts Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally publicly called out Putin for his ongoing invasion.
During the married couple’s monologue, Megan said: ‘I think we speak for everyone here when we say that we are hoping for a quick, peaceful resolution. Specifically, f**k off and go home Putin.’
Her husband added: ‘We hope Putin f**ks off and goes home and to that end let’s all join together with a Spirit Awards salute to Putin.’
Kristen could be seen in the audience following their lead as she flashed her middle finger at the camera.
‘Great organisations are raising money [for Ukraine],’ Megan said. ‘Please give what you can to give to the victims of this senseless act of aggression.’

The stars were out on Sunday evening for the ceremony at the Santa Monica Pier in California as Julia Fox – who split from Kanye West last month after their whirlwind romance – stunned on the blue carpet.
She stepped out in an off the shoulder black dress exposing her matching bra and smiled for the cameras.

Meanwhile, Lily James captured everyone’s attention as she paired a plunging pink crop top – which had flowing sleeves – with high-waisted black trousers.
Kristen was also seen on the red carpet, looking fantastic in a sequined white Chanel jumpsuit with black stripes down the sides, and she accessorised with a black belt to complete her ensemble.

Taika Waititi showed off his enviable sense of style with a coral suit – complete with a matching shirt – and white loafers, while Andrew Garfield looked effortlessly cool in a purple suit and It’s A Sin star Olly Alexander looked the part in an all black ensemble.
Maggie Gyllenhaal – who attended with her man Peter Sarsgaard – sported a floral gown and proved to be a big winner on the night, picking up the best director and screenplay prizes for her movie The Lost Daughter.
