New Raiders HC Josh McDaniels Makes Unsettling Admission About Franchise Less Than Two Months Into the Job
The Las Vegas Raiders have a new head coach for next season. Josh McDaniels has taken the responsibility. A new head coach usually means there will be a lot of changes in the squad and the management. But that does not seem to be the case. It looks like McDaniels will not have time to rebuild the Raiders.
For his first year in Vegas, McDaniels has a lot on his plate. The HC is also putting a lot of high expectations on himself. But he also blames Today’s NFL for not really having any time to do the rebuilding.
Josh McDaniels making unsettling admissions about the franchise
The Las Vegas Raiders hired Josh McDaniels towards the end of January. McDaniels was previously the offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots. Even though the Raiders fans hate all the Patriots, their new HC is a welcome edition. Because they know he is a great coach and the team needs someone like him.
McDaniels has claimed that the Raiders squad he inherited can do some real damage in the 2022 season. But he doesn’t have any time to make changes. “I don’t think in today’s NFL there’s really any time to do rebuilding anyway,” said the new Raiders head coach. “This certainly isn’t that type of situation for us.”
McDaniels is keeping his expectations very high. He might not be making too many changes, but the HC wants the team to do better than the previous season. The Raiders are a tough squad and with the right guidance, they can even make it to the Super Bowl. Is Josh McDaniels the leader Las Vegas was looking for? We will find out when the 2022 season kicks off.
Raiders previous season
In the 2021 season, the Las Vegas Raiders had a pretty decent run. The franchise made it to the playoffs with a record of 10-7. Even though the 10-7 record seems impressive on paper, the team was outscored a lot. They scored 374 points, but on the other hand, they also allowed 439.

The Las Vegas Raiders made it to the Wild-card round. There they met the team which will go all the way to the finals: The Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals knocked out the Raiders with a score of 26-19. Do you think Josh McDaniels will help the Raiders get past the Wild-card round next season?
