WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin confirms epic WrestleMania return 19 years after last match to fight Kevin Owens

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has promised to bring ‘one last can of whoop-ass’ against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38.

The Texas Rattlesnake will be at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas for a home state comeback on the grandest stage as he’s set to fight KO in a highly anticipated clash.

In a video responding to Kevin calling him out on Raw, Austin said: ’19 years ago, I wrestled me last match in a WWE ring. After three Rock Bottoms – one, two, three, I lost the match. And for 19 years, I’ve had to live with that defeat knowing my time was up.

‘Kevin Owens, I wanna thank you. I wanna thank you for waking up something inside me that I’ve kept buried for 19 years. Ever since you stated running that damn mealy month of yours about the great state of Texas, you got my attention.

‘Why would you wanna do that, Kevin? I think of two reasons. One, you are one dumb son of a bitch! And two, you are fixing to get your ass kicked by Stone Cold Steve Austin.’

It remains to be seen whether or not the pair will actually have a match after Owens specifically challenge Austin to appear as a guest on his in-ring talk show so he could beat him up, but the former world champion is shying away from a fight.

‘Whether you wanna call this a KO Show, a match, a fight, a brawl, whatever. I will guarantee you this,’ he added.

‘In Dallas, Texas, where I started my career at WrestleMania, Stone Cold is gonna open one last can of whoopass on you Kevin Owens. And that’s the bottom line, ’cause Stone Cold said so!’

Austin’s last match in WWE saw him lose to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in 2003, and fans will be delighted at the prospect of seeing him get physical one more time.
