Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson welcomed the confirmation of his fight with former MMA veteran Michael Chandler on the UFC 274 PPV, which also features Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje.

UFC 274 has become a lightweight showdown in the wake of this fight. Both Chandler and Ferguson had been lobbying for a fight against each other and teased it throughout the year. Now, as the fight has been confirmed, it has overjoyed ‘El Cucuy’.

The UFC 274 event is going to be held at Footprint Center in Phoenix as the Brazilian submission artist Charles Oliveira gears up for his second consecutive title defense against ‘The Highlight Reel’ Justin Gaethje.

Although Michael Chandler made an impressive knockout UFC debut against former title contender Dan Hooker, he has since then slumped at the premier promotion. After his fight with Hooker, he lost to Charles Oliveira for the vacant lightweight strap and then to Justin Gaethje at UFC 268, simultaneously.
