Novak Djokovic Shows Off Skills in a New Sport After Withdrawing From Indian Wells 2022

Novak Djokovic may be one of the best tennis players of all time. However, off-late he has been in the news for things other than tennis. The Serb has been barred from entering several countries where there is a vaccine mandate, and recently this came into the news again. The draw at the Indian Wells Masters featured his name. But he was not granted permission to enter the United States owing to his vaccination status. As a result, he will not feature at the ‘Sunshine Double’ this year.

Instead, he was seen employing his skills in another sport. Any guesses which?

It can be said that the former World No. 1 and his wife are fans of the sport. They have often spotted enjoying matches when they are in Belgrade.

Djokovic reveals his next tournament

While he was a part of the main draw at Indian Wells, he had no other option but to withdraw from the tournament. He was denied entry into the United States owing to his vaccination status.

Novak Djokovic recently also confirmed the next tournament where he will be allowed to play. His website released the information that the 20 Grand Slam titles winner will play in Monaco, at the Monte Carlo Masters. The event at the ‘Principality’ is the first 1000 Masters tournament of the clay season in the lead-up to the French Open, where the Serb is the defending champion.
