Britney Spears admits she’s ‘cried oceans’ for her teen sons Sean & Jayden as star ‘wishes’ she could post pics of them

Britney Spears opened up about sons Sean and Jayden, whom she shares with ex Kevin Federline, revealing she’s “cried oceans” over the boys.

The pop singer and her ex were married for two years beginning in 2004.

Britney recently opened up about her sons in a vulnerable Instagram post comparing her puppy’s growth to that of her boys.

The Toxic singer shared a series of sexy photos of herself wearing a black and red dress with hearts printed on it.

In the last photo in the set, she held her dog in her arms, smiling as the dog looked over her shoulder.

Britney reflected on both the pooch and her sons growing up in the caption.

“My baby is getting bigger … I will just say it just like when my boys got bigger … IT LITERALLY SUCKS,” she began.

Britney went on: “They dont need me anymore … I’ve cried oceans for my boys and I’m not lying !!!! Hopefully one day I can show recent pics of us but in the meantime, I respect their wishes !!!!!

“Oh well … but Sawyer … yes, he’s bigger but he will always need me and I like that !!!!”

Fans flooded the comments with positivity.

“No matter how grown they are, children will always need their mama!” one fan assured the singer.

Another commented: “Your boys will ALWAYS need you! no matter what they say”

A third fan wrote: “Love you, B. I’m so sorry.”

Several others expressed a mutual confusion.

BABY ON THE WAY?

It appears fans thought Britney’s post was a pregnancy announcement.

Several supporters flocked to the comments section of the Instagram post to express the same sentiment.

Others simply shared with fellow fans that they, too, thought Britney was revealing plans to grow her family with fiancé Sam Asghari.

“no cuz we all thought youre pregnant,” one confused supporter wrote.

Another commented: “B, I thought this was a pregnancy announcement!”

“The caption! I thought you were pregnant for a moment,” a third fan wrote in the comments.

This isn’t the first time Britney has had fans guessing about a baby on the way.

‘NEW ADDITION’

In December 2021, Britney and Sam sparked baby speculation with a confusing Instagram post.

The award-winning musician posed with her back to the camera in the clip.

She rocked side to side, holding a bottle in her hand while standing in front of a grand Christmas tree. 

Britney teased in the caption: “New addition to the family. 

“guess if it’s a boy or a girl.”

She went on to say: “thank you again baby @samasghari !!!!!”

Sam replied in the comments with several shocked faces, but fans weren’t falling for it.

While the duo have spoken on several occasions about wanting a baby, it appears their new addition is a pet.

A sliver of what appears to be a tail can be seen sticking out from beyond Britney’s side in the video.

One fan commented: “I think its a baby puppy!”

Another questioned: “Kitten??”

A third wrote: “I am thinking a kitten.”

Other commenters simply praised Britney for her ability to “troll” the internet, with one writing: “Queen of trolling the internet” and another calling her “trollney.”

The pop star has made it no secret that she wants to have another child – specifically a daughter – with her longtime partner.

BABY DESIRE

An insider close to the singer told The Sun she has “talked about wanting a baby girl for years.”

The source went on: “Britney definitely wants more kids and she would be so happy and grateful with another son but deep down, her desire is to be a mama to a little girl.

“She wants to pass down her dresses and take her daughter to dance class, things her sons are not interested in.”

The insider added: “It could potentially happen soon but that’s not her main focus right now. They both want children together and now there’s nothing stopping her.”

The source maintained that if Britney and Sam do have children, they will “absolutely not” have a relationship with her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears.

Per the insider: “Not in the foreseeable future, anyway. If and when she has a baby, Britney will do everything to protect him or her and raise the child in a safe environment.

“It’s no secret that having those people around is not a safe space.”

Britney is already mom to two boys, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15. 

She shares her sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline. 

Britney and Sam are more focused on their wedding plans than having children right now. 

The duo have sparked speculation that they’re already married.
