Temperatures in the early hours of Tuesday though are predicted to plummet to around the freezing mark in some parts of the UK, mainly in rural parts of Wales, the Midlands and the north while urban areas will be only slightly warmer at 3-4C.
Southern parts could see some misty patches and even dense fog first thing as the morning gets underway.

Most parts of England and Wales should see a “fine, bright and sunny day,” according to the Met Office’s forecaster Alex Deakin.
Which will be good news for racegoers as the Cheltenham Festival gets underway.
Further north though, across western parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland, particularly in the Highlands, should see some rain and cloudy conditions.
Wednesday is expected to be slightly cooler, with a top temperature of 15C in south-east England.
