I spent my entire £113 life savings on the Oh Polly Cosy collection… it was a complete fail

AN ONLINE shopper’s been left mortified after spending her entire life savings on Oh Poll only to look like one of the main characters from Star Wars.

Taking it to TikTok, Charlotte Forbes, from Rawtenstall, Lancashire, shared the major shopping mishap, where the video’s taken internet by storm, racking up close to 135,000 views since being posted.

According to the blonde beauty, she was scrolling online when she stumbled upon The Cosy Collection by the cult favourite, Oh Polly.

In love with the comfortable garments – made from their softest and most premium fabric yet, as claimed by the brand – the shopper decided to bag a pair of knit joggers, a V neck tank top, as well as a long cardigan to complete the full look.

Paying a total of £113 for the sand colour loungewear set, Charlotte was excited for the new clothes to be delivered to her door.

However, things didn’t go as anticipated, as she shared the major fail, which she had spent her entire life savings on.

Instead of a flattering, light sand set, the online shopper received something more akin to Yoda’s outfit, Charlotte noted.

Not only was the colour off – it was more dusty brown – but the fit was nothing like what the model was wearing in the advertisement photos, with the cosy cardigan dragging on the floor and her joggers so long, the extra material covered her feet entirely.

Whilst she did admit the material was ”comfy”, it was ”not £113 worth of comfy”.

”some of my primark pyjamas feel exactly the same [sic].”

Disappointed and wanting a refund, Charlotte returned the full set – however, she had to spend another £11 just to ship it back.

”Breaks my heart thinking about it.

”I volunteered myself as tribute to try it so no one else wastes any money,” the shopper added in the comments.

Viewers were left mortified, with some potential buyers of the outfit thanking Charlotte for sharing the video.

”Omg I’ve signed up to when this comes back in stock!! I won’t bother now!!” wrote one fashion lover.

It also appears that Charlotte wasn’t the only one to have experienced a fail when shopping on Oh Polly, as a few shared the same story.

”the same happened to me I got an XS n it was more like a size 10 I looked like Shaun the sheep [sic],” a horrified shopper revealed.

A second added: ”I bought these trousers and too too and have to roll the trousers up about 5 times [sic].”
