Who is Lysette Anthony?

Born in Marylebone, London, Lysette Anthony is an actress and model.

She was once hailed as the “Face of the Eighties” by photographer David Bailey.

Now 58, the English star found fame as a model before turning to acting, having appeared in numerous music videos throughout the eighties.

Born Lysette Chodzko, she appeared in the music videos for Summer of ’69 by Bryan Adams, I Feel You by Depeche Mode and others.


What TV shows and films has Lysette Anthony been in?

Lysette is known for appearing in the Woody Allen film Husbands and Wives (1992).

She also appeared in ITV’s Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, and BBC sitcom Three Up, Two Down.

Lysette appeared in Casualty in 2007 and then again 2009, guest starring as Rachel Houston and Amanda respectively.

The actress is best known for her role in Hollyoaks playing Marnie Nightingale.


When was Lysette Anthony diagnosed with Parkinson’s?

Lysette hasn’t revealed when she was diagnosed, but in March 2022 she talked about her ongoing battle with the disease.

Things got so bad for the actress, that at one point she thought she was going to die

“I didn’t get enough sleep last night as I’m feeling a bit nervous about today but it’s time,” she told OK!.

“The most difficult things are often taking three little steps. And I’m also so tired. My symptoms have got worse.”

Lysette opened up about how things got so bad for her recently she thought she was going to die.

“At Christmas it was so bad,” she said.

Is Lysette married and does she have children?

Lysette is believed to be currently single.

She has a son with composer Simon Boswell, who she divorced in 2010.

She was previously married to entrepreneur Luc Leestemaker and American film director David Price.
