I was exhausted by my ‘terrible sleeper’ toddler until I discovered a 14p trick to help her sleep through the night

No one knows it better than this mum – but, luckily, she’s come up with a cheap trick to get her toddler daughter ready for bedtime – and all you need is a household favourite.

In a short clip on TikTok, Allison (@agoyneee_xo) revealed the parenting hack, which has since gone viral, racking up a staggering 4.6 million views since being uploaded.
The mum-of-one, who regularly discusses pregnancy and motherhood on social media, explained that she had always had a particularly hard time with her daughter when it came to going to bed.
This was until she stumbled upon a hack on the social media giant – one that she claimed was ”life-changing” to the sleep routine.

”And anyone that knows me knows that I’ve had the absolute worst sleeper since the day she was born,” the mum claimed, whilst her daughter was playing in the background.
Desperate for a change, the mum was willing to try anything and decided to give the banana trick a go – it worked like a charm and she hasn’t looked back since.
”W’ere about eight months in and she sleeps through the night.”
Alongside kitchen staples like milk and chamomile tea, bananas are proven to be one of the best natural remedies for those struggling with falling asleep.
