A MUM-OF-FOUR has gone viral after revealing how she gets her children to come down for dinner without having to shout countless times.

Those with kids, especially teenagers, know how tiresome it can get when you have to constantly call them for dinner time – no amount of repeating will get their attention.

However, it doesn’t have to be that way – as one savvy mum has shared her simple solution that will save your throat and sanity.

With over 255,000 followers, Arin Jura (@arinsolange) has become a popular creator on TikTok, where she shares various DIY projects and home renovation videos.

But one clip has taken the internet by storm, amassing 5.8 million views.

In the viral video, the mum explained that she hated yelling in the family house – and so, had to find an alternative.

Now, instead of repeated shouting, the savvy mum uses doorbells to notify her kids that dinner is ready, calling it a ”game changer”.

Arin then went on to demonstrate how the system works – each child has an individual doorbell button with their name on it and it’s locked inside a cupboard in the kitchen.

The chime, she explained, is set up in their bedrooms – this means that rather than shouting, she simply presses a button and the doorbell rings in their room.

”They also know to come down in the morning when their doorbell goes off,” she continued.

The mum-of-four said she bagged hers for $15 (£11) from Amazon and was thrilled with the results.

“There has never been a better #momhack,” she said.

“These little $15 doorbells have made our house so much more pleasant!”

The parenting hack has been liked by more than 700,000 TikTok users, with many taking it to comments to share their thoughts.

One mum joked: ”so by yelling i’ve saved $30 so far….”, whilst for someone else yelling was their ”#1 top mom peeve”.

Others shared how their families would announce it’s time for dinner, like this person who said: ”My mum just hit the ceiling with the broom handle.”

”I just got myself a bullhorn. Some families need something a lil stronger [sic],” a fellow parent chuckled.

A third commented: ”I drop into or make an announcement over Alexa.”
