Dapper Laughs has revealed the reason for his broken leg was that he tried to jump a bunker with a golf cart and ended up flying out of it.

The comedian, 37, whose real name is Daniel O’Reilly, had revealed his broken leg earlier in the week as he posed in a hospital gown in a wheelchair with his two daughters either side of him after being bandaged up.

He added: ‘Well they do always tell me to break a leg. Well at least I got two little nurses to look after me.

‘Who can guess how I did this then? Absolute s*****ghead I am…’

He finally revealed that the break was caused by him trying to pull his best Fast and Furious moves on a golf buggy – which went spectacularly wrong.

Revealing he was back at the hospital on Thursday, Dapper told his followers: ‘So I’m back at the hospital because my toes started going blue and I’m in a bit of pain.’

For everyone asking how I broke my leg, it was of course, by being a legend. pic.twitter.com/T4vUaszfW7

He added that lots of his fans had been asking how the broken leg actually happened, and shared a video of the fateful moment he jumped a bunker and ended up flying out of the buggy – which also didn’t look to fare too well in the crash, with debris being seen flying in the air.

Dapper added: ‘For everyone asking how I broke my leg, it was of course, by being a complete legend. & I Finally got my golf handicap.’

Taking to his story, he joked: ‘Some of the comments on that video are killing me. Someone just said: “What was going through your head mate?” The f**king golf cart windscreen, you t**t.’

Well, you live and learn…
