Little-known iPhone trick lets you FaceTime call someone on an Android phone

The handy trick utilizes a link that allows anyone with the details to join a scheduled FaceTime call.
This method is also especially helpful for work chats if Zoom or other apps are not available to you or your party members.
It’s important to note that the person scheduling the call must have an Apple device that functions on iOS 15 or later, or credentials associated with an Apple account.
Below, we have outlined the simple process.
How to FaceTime Android/Google users
First, open up the Facetime app on your phone.
Next, tap on “Create link.”
Once you’ve done that, a screen should slide up from the bottom that says “FaceTime Link.”

You can then click “Add Name” to enter a name for your chat.
After that, you will see options to share the link through text, email, or any other communication/social media apps you have on your phone.
Users also have the option of copying and pasting the link.
To then join the call yourself, just click on the name of the chat and tap “Join.”
Similarly, Android or Windows users can just tap on the link to join.

They will then get redirected to a waiting room until you allow them to join the call.
