Why did Toni Storm leave the company?

After Storm’s stint in the NXT, she became a permanent member of the SmackDown main roster in July 2021. In addition, on the Christmas Eve episode of SmackDown, she challenged Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s title.

However, Charlotte Flair had the upper hand on Toni Storm as she successfully defended her title.

Just a few days after her SmackDown Women’s Championship opportunity turned upside down, she left the company. Dave Meltzer noted that her decision to leave the WWE involved Charlotte Flair.

He suggested that a burnout feud with Charlotte Flair may have been a factor for Storm leaving the WWE.

Since she departed from the company, Toni Storm has not opened up about her in-ring return. Will she explore a career outside the WWE? What do you think?
