China Eastern Airlines crash – Passenger jet carrying 133 crashes into mountain as horror vid shows smouldering wreckage

A CHINA Eastern Airlines plane carrying 133 passengers has crashed into a mountain in Tengxian, Guangxi.

Horror footage from the scene shows smouldering wreckage while smoke can be seen rising.

The passenger jet was heading to Guangzhou from Kunming and was carrying 9 crew members and 123 passengers.

Broadcaster CCTV said the accident involving the China Eastern 737 occurred near the city of Wuzhou in Teng county.

It said rescuers had been dispatched and there was no immediate word on numbers of dead and injured.
