I would rather stay with my partner I don’t love than be on my own
DEAR DEIDRE: I AM desperate to leave my partner but I’m terrified of being on my own.
He’s a man of 52 and I’m 41. We met five years ago. He does nothing for me now and we barely speak.

I have decided on numerous occasions that I don’t want to be with him any more, but as soon as I start looking for a property that I can rent, I go into sheer panic.
