I posted my ASOS returns parcel & was mortified when I realised I’d made a big mistake and sent something else too
FOR those who dislike crowded shops and waiting hours to get in the changing rooms, online retailers, like ASOS, is a godsend.
However, despite its benefits, online shopping also comes with a few disadvantages – and no one knows it better than Carla Freeman, from London.

Taking it to TikTok, the actress and comedian shared her rather mortifying experience, where the fashion blunder has gone viral, racking up just under 108,000 views in just 24 hours.
”Something’s just happened that even for me is remarkable,” Carla began the storytime, explaining she had bagged a few bikinis from ASOS.
Upon delivery, the mum had tried on the purchased garments – however, some of them, she described, were ”really not good”.
”So shoved them back in bag, did the whole label printy thing, ran down to the post office with it, posted it off [sic].”

However, after getting back home, Carla realised she was still wearing one of the bikinis that had just been delivered earlier and it suddenly dawned upon her: ”I’ve put my underwear in the ASOS returns bag.
”With one of my favourite bras,” she exclaimed in sheer horror.
Mortified and desperate to get her lingerie back, Carla then immediately went on the retailer’s website to seek assistance.
There, she explained the major fail that had taken place, writing to a chatbot: ”Will you please sent me the underwear back [sic].

Not fussed about the knickers (feel free to bin) but the bra is a favourite.”
After some waiting, Carla finally managed to get through to a human, who she was hoping would be able to reunite the mum with her lingerie.

”Hi Mikaela! I’m ok thank you. I’ve accidentally included my own underwear with the items I returned to you. I’m so so sorry.
”Please tell me people do this a lot,” Carla wrote.
The mishap left the online assistant in stitches, as she typed her response: ”Oh no. I’m sorry to hear this Carla.
”You have made my morning so far, I won’t lie but don’t worry, you’d be surprised at how many people do return items back to us by accident that were not purchased from us.”
”But do they send their dirty underwear Mikaela…do they!?” Carla still couldn’t believe what had happened.
Viewers were in hysterics, with many demanding she uploads a follow-up video un the upcoming days.
”You can buy them back on the new ASOS pre-loved marketplace,” a user chuckled, whilst a second joked: ”Don’t worry they will include them in someone else’s delivery.”
An ex-employee of the company revealed: ”As someone that used to work at ASOS yes! We’ve had rings, wallets everything!!”
