You can now play as Snoop Dogg in Call of Duty after rapper joins as playable operator

SNOOP Dogg is jumping into Call Of Duty as a special playable operator next month.

The rapper will first appear decked out head-to-toe in a 24K gold embroidered outfit with a new blingy “signature weapon”.

He’ll first show up in season 3 of Call Of Duty: Mobile via a Lucky Draw taking place on April 1.

His unique weapon will be based on a fast-firing Legendary SMG, fittingly styled with gold and diamonds.

It even has a unique death effect that will “light up your enemies under the lights of a mini-concert” that gets “even flashier” the more people you kill, publisher Activision Blizzard teased.

“The D O Double G is back in Call of Duty and this time I’m in the freakin’ game,” Snoop Dogg said.

“It’s dope, y’all can play as me and get these sick items that have Snoop written all over them.”

The Doggy Dogg World hit-maker will also turn up in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone in a special Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle from April 19.

These will come with ten items, a full Operator progression track and rewards across 20 levels, including weapon XP, three alternate outfits, and other cosmetic items.

The Snoop Dogg operator available in Vanguard and Warzone is separate from the one on the mobile game though.

Fans may recall this isn’t the first time Snoop has been in a COD game.

The rapper, whose a bit of a gamer himself, voiced lines for Call Of Duty: Ghosts back in 2014.

It’s the latest in a string of busy months for the 50-year-old.

Last month, he bought music label Death Row Records.
