Council House Swap viewers are stunned as couple take their DOG while going to visit prospective new homes

IF you were going to look at a prospective new home, would you take your dog with you?

Well, that’s exactly what couple Michael and Lucy did as they went to view Maria’s home in Belgrave, Leicester, on the latest episode of Council House Swap.

The pair, along with their son Thomas, were looking for a smaller house after their three-bed home had become unmanageable.

After registering on a house swap website, they’d decided to go and have a look at Maria’s home – despite the fact that Lucy was immediately unimpressed by the state of the dressmaker’s slightly messy home.

As they pulled up outside the property, Lucy failed to hide her disappointment as she looked at the exterior, before she, Michael and Thomas all got out their car – along with their bulldog Dave.

They gave Maria no indication that they were bringing their dog with them, and viewers were left stunned by their audacity.

MOTHER’S FURY

We’ve been homeless for MONTHS after trying to escape dangerous council house

“I wouldn’t take my dog round someone’s home that is super rude,” one person wrote on Twitter.

While another added: “You can’t take your dog to view someone else’s house! And they look down their noses at others! Bloody hell!”

“Oh god they’re going to be horrible to this poor woman and anyway who brings a dog to a viewing!?” someone else commented.

As another comment read: “WTF would you take your dog round to view someone else’s house. How disrespectful.”

“Why would you bring along your dog?” another person wondered.

Worst of all, as Michael and Lucy had another look around …’s home, they asked her to look after Dave, with her shown nervously petting the pooch as the family went to have another nose around upstairs.

After deciding against Maria’s house and Alison’s home – the first one they’d looked at – they were more hopeful as they travelled to Yeovil to have a look at Laura’s home.

Once again, their dog came with them, with one person tweeting: “Why do they keep bringing their f**king dog with them!!!”

“They’ve bought the dog again. I’d tell them it wasn’t coming in. Cheeky s*ds,” another added.

Viewers were also less than impressed with Lucy’s attitude, as she didn’t hold back while slating the aspects of the home she didn’t like.

“Lucy has got a right b**chy face,” one person wrote.
