Primark has brought back the most nostalgic brand from the 90s & millennials are going wild
IF you were a kid growing up in the 90s, then chances are you watched a LOT of Cartoon Network.
Although the TV channel was sadly taken off air in 2014 (RIP), some of its most famous shows are forever going to be burned in our brains.

So with that in mind, we’re VERY excited about Primark’s newest kids’ range.
Earlier this month, the brand unveiled their three sets of Powerpuff Girls matching tops and shorts.
And if that wasn’t exciting enough, each set features an illustration with Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup AND is made in their signature colour.
What’s more, the brand has also gone the extra mile by making a bonus fourth set for the fourth Powerpuff Girl Bliss – who joined the series in 2016.

Unsurprisingly, the seam-free sets sent shoppers into an absolute frenzy.
One replied: “I have the PJs, the trainer socks & you better believe I’m getting these.”
Another added: “We need adult ones!”
“OMG I want it all,” a third gushed.

The Powerpuff Girls first aired back in 1998 – but last year it was confirmed that the cartoon is being made into a live-action series.
In August 2020, The CW announced that a live-action version of The Powerpuff Girls was in development.
CW’s version of the show will follow Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup as “disillusioned twentysomethings” resentful at losing their childhood to fighting crime and faced with the choice of reuniting when the world needs them more than ever.
On March 9, 2021, Deadline reported the CW has found its Powerpuff Girls in Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrault.
