A third joked: “Jayne – has the bell not gone in the bar ?”

However Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo were still sat at their seats.

Moments later Regan Gascoigne has won Dancing on Ice 2022.

The dancer romped to victory with professional partner Karina Manta.

He beat former Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan Cole into second place.

After the first public vote closed it was revealed Kimberly Wyatt had been eliminated.

She said: “This has been such a beautiful experience. I’m so grateful for everyone and everything they’ve done for us.”

Regan and Brendan went on to skate Bolero before the winner was crowned.

Earlier in the night the three finalists sparked a fix row by all being professional dancers – and all achieving perfect scores.

Singer and dancer Regan Gascoigne opened the final with a perfect score of 40 for his performance to Step In Time by Mary Poppins Original London Cast.

The 26-year-old, who was cheered on from the audience by his mother Sheryl and sister Bianca, was told his performance could have been from a professional West End show.

Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt also received the maximum score of 40 for her routine to River by Joni Mitchell.

The 40-year-old struggled to hold back her tears following her performance with professional partner Mark Hanretty as it told the story of her childhood dream of wanting to be an ice-skater.

And Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan Cole received a perfect score of 40 in the Dancing On Ice final for his performance to Carmen Medley by Georges Bizet.

The 45-year-old, who was cheered on by his wife Zoe Hobbs and their children in the audience, said it was an “honour” to skate a dance choreographed by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

All three finalists then skated again with their favourite dancers from the series.

And again all three scored full houses with 40 points each.
