‘I Despise It’: Paige Spiranac Reveals an Annoying Quality of Her Ex-Boyfriend

Caddies are an integral part of a professional’s success at an event. Moreover, having your partner on the bag makes the event even sweeter for golf professionals. However, Paige Spiranac begs to differ and says that the combination of boyfriend and girlfriend on the bag in her case does not work. Recently, she revealed the same in the latest episode of her podcast.

Paige Spiranac reveals her ex-boyfriend’s annoying habit

Spiranac is famous for making spicy comments and raw tweets. Moreover, she is known for her interactions with her fans. Apart from being a golf instructor, the retired golf professional even features on her podcast Playing A Round With Paige Reene. Recently, the 28-year-old revealed the most annoying habit of her ex-boyfriend on the course while caddying for her on her podcast.

Spiranac used to have her ex-boyfriend as the caddie on the golf course. However, the duo could not continue for long due to her ex-boyfriend’s unusual habit when Paige lined up for a shot. She said, “I had a significant other caddy for me… I’ve done that twice, never do that it is not a good combination. A pet peeve of mine is when people chew loudly, I despise it. What he would do to get under my skin, he did this on purpose.

She added, “He would take a bite of food right before he would line me up (to take a shot), so he would be in my ear lining me up, chewing on one of those Nature Valley bars” 

Why did Spiranac quit golf?

Paige Renee would compete on the Cactus Tour and even clinched her first professional win on the Tour back in 2016. She defeated Hannah O’Sullivan to win her first professional event. However, in the same year, Paige attempted to secure her playing rights on the LPGA Tour. But she could not make it through the qualifying school.

In time, things started to go downhill. Paige even cried at the 2016 Ladies Omega Dubai Desert Classic and revealed that she was being cyberbullied. All of this added up, and ultimately the 28-year-old promising professional retired from professional golf. And announced her retirement in December 2016.
