6′11″ Kevin Durant Gets Mocked for His Height by a Player From Michael Jordan’s Hornets

Kevin Durant and Brooklyn Nets took on Michael Jordan-owned Charlotte Hornets on Sunday. Kyrie Irving appeared for the first time at home this season after the Vaccine mandate was lifted. But it didn’t end on a cheerful note as the Hornets spoiled the party.

The Hornets overcame the Nets, 119-110, and they leapfrogged the Nets for the eighth seed. Both teams have identical records, but the Hornets are ahead by virtue of a tiebreaker. It was a wild game as both teams built massive leads, but they allowed each other to come back. In the end, it was the Hornets who held their nerve in the final stages and came away with a crucial victory. But the highlight of the game was when a Hornets player called Kevin Durant small.

Michael Jordan owned Charlotte Hornets player gives Kevin Durant a taste of his own medicine

There were two minutes left in the second quarter and the Hornets were trailing 49-56. They worked the ball to PJ Washington who was guarded by KD on the wing. He drove the ball into the lane and he hit a tough floater over Durant. And after hitting the shot, he mocked Durant and showed that he was too small to guard him. Kevin Durant is listed at 6′ 11″ and he has a huge wingspan. Hitting that shot over him was very difficult. And flexing on him was the icing on the cake.

Washington gave KD a taste of his own medicine. Durant had been hitting the too-small celebration on many players all season long. Durant has been unstoppable all season long, and he has been humiliating players now and then. But he would never have thought someone could call him too small. Washington should watch out though, as Durant will surely remember what he did to him and will want to destroy him the next time they meet.
