Man Utd under pressure to appoint Erik ten Hag as ‘two more clubs approach Ajax boss to take over this summer’
MANCHESTER UNITED reportedly face competition in their bid to appoint Erik ten Hag as next permanent manager of the club.
SunSport exclusively revealed last week that the Ajax gaffer was United’s No1 candidate for the role.

The 52-year-old impressed club chiefs following talks on the prospect of taking over from interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
But with a deal yet to be agreed, other clubs are beginning to show interest of their own in Ten Hag.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims TWO more sides are also considering a swoop for the Red Devils’ target.
Romano told his YouTube channel: “Erik ten Hag has two more clubs interested in him for next season.”

The two clubs remain unnamed, with Romano giving no indication as to who they might be.
And the interest puts United under pressure to act – if Ten Hag is still the man they want in the dugout.
Romano added: “Two clubs are keeping tabs on the situation of Erik ten Hag,” in the event of talks with United breaking down.
Further reports to emerge yesterday claim Ten Hag is “shocked” that he is yet to have been offered a contract by United after talks last week went so smoothly.

The Mirror claim Ten Hag is amazed that United are yet to formally offer him a deal.
The club are said to be wanting to keep their options open, with Mauricio Pochettino, Julen Lopetegui and Luis Enrique all other potential candidates.
Now though the reported interest in Ten Hag from elsewhere could force United into playing their hand sooner, before he is snapped up by a rival.
