Then the final confirmation stage deciding the field and leaving the maximum 40 runners will take place a day later, on Friday, April 8.
Once the full field is known, the Sun Racing sweepstake kit will be available for free download.
How does Grand National 2022 sweepstake kit work?
Get a group of your mates, pop the names into the hat, collect the money for the kitty and, hopefully, find a winner!
You could have 40 people each selecting one horse.
Say everyone puts in a fiver, then the winner would get £100, £50 for second, £30 for third and fourth is £20.
If that’s too much then you could swap a fiver for £2, with £40 for the winner, £25 for second, £10 for third and £5 for fourth.
Or you could have the winner scoop the whole lot!
It’s totally up to you and how many people get involved.
When is the Grand National 2022?
The race takes place at 5.15pm on Saturday, April 9.
The Grand National forms part of the three-day Randox Grand National Festival.
Day one is the Randox Opening Day on Thursday, April 7, it’s Ladies Day on the Friday before the big one on the Saturday.
