Your iPhone’s ‘secret sound’ trick is the ultimate hack for anyone feeling stressed
DID you know the iPhone has a little trick up its sleeve to help you drown out distracting noises?
If you’re struggling to focus on important paperwork or just need some calm, a TikToker has revealed a hidden feature that could take care of it.

Apple has several soothing background noises tucked away on the iPhone.
As the tech giant puts it, they are designed to “mask unwanted environmental noise”.
“These sounds can minimise distractions and help you to focus, be calm or rest,” the feature description reads.
HEIMADigital has shown their 772,000 followers exactly where you can find them and set it up.

First, you need to open Settings and go to Accessibility.
From there, scroll down until you see Audio/Visual.
Next, tap Background Sounds.
Switch it on at the top, then choose your desired sound below.

There are six sounds on offer.
These include: balanced noise, bright noise, dark noise, ocean, rain and stream.
You can also determine the volume, as well as how loud it should be when you have something else playing.
