Mystery as newborn found dead inside fast food restaurant bathroom with police searching for woman in surveillance video
ARIZONA police are searching for a woman who left her newborn in a fast food restaurant’s bathroom.
The remains of a baby boy were found in a McDonald’s bathroom around 2pm on Sunday, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Crews began life-saving efforts on the baby, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The results of the autopsy are still pending.
Video surveillance shows an unidentified adult woman in a black Calvin Klein t-shirt leaving the restaurant’s bathroom before the baby’s remains were found.
The restaurant remained open after the baby was found.
An investigation into the incident is underway.

Police said there are no suspects in custody.
Investigators implore anyone with information about the woman to contact the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness.

Another newborn was abandoned last week on the hood of a car in Connecticut.

Police received a 911 call from the woman at around 4.15pm after she said the male suspect got into a dark-colored vehicle and fled the area, according to KWTX.
State troopers said the infant was transported to an area hospital where it was determined to be a 28-30 week old premature newborn.

The baby was listed in stable condition.
The state police’s Eastern District Major Crime has launched an investigation to find the man who apparently abandoned the infant.
