The issue was not only affecting iPhones, but iPads as well.

It comes after customers began reporting problems to Apple after iOS 15.4 was released on March 14.

The tech giant admitted that there is some battery drain immediately after installing an update but revealed it is normal.

Apparently, it’s because apps are still settling in with the new software.

In the release notes, it states: “Battery may drain more quickly than expected after updating to iOS/iPadOS 15.4.”

It also says it fixes flaws where “braille devices may become unresponsive while navigating text or displaying an alert”, as well as “made for iPhone/iPad hearing devices may lose connection within some third-party apps”.

iOS 15.4 included several big new features.

Among them is a new mask mode for Face ID, fresh emoji, and a gender neutral voice for Siri.
