Pretty Little Thing sparks confusion with latest bikini rule as it warns customers not to get it WET
A WOMAN on the hunt for the perfect bikini was left stunned after ordering one from Pretty Little Thing, only to find she wasn’t allowed to get the two-piece wet.
Georgia Ayling took to TikTok to share a video of herself having a look at the pink bikini, which was made in a towelling fabric.

The towelling two-piece sells for £30 on the fast fashion websitePrettylittlething
Attached to the triangle two-piece were several labels which read: “Don’t get me wet – poolside posing only.”
“Me trying to figure out why I’d want a bikini I can’t get wet,” Georgia wrote over the video.
On the Pretty Little Thing website, there are no notes on the listing for the bikini – which retails at £30 – about the “78% cotton 22% polyester knit” fabric not being waterproof.
In response to the TikTok video, one person commented: “this makes me so mad.”

Another person called the situation “so funny”, but Georgia insisted she “wasn’t happy in the slightest”.
“and to think I was just about to order this, THANK YOU,” someone else commented.
“This is literally what fast fashion is about, how can they make clothes for the swimming pool but not actually for the pool just for insta pic,” another weighed in.

“That’s crazy.”
Others questioned how you can wash the bikini if you can’t get it wet, while some people insisted they’ve got the two-piece and have worn it in the water without suffering any disastrous consequences.
“I still get it wet it doesn’t fall off promise,” one woman wrote.
