From former world champions and tag team pioneers to a late hero and royalty, this year’s shortlist is packed with legendary superstars as the ceremony comes as part of a double header with Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

This year, the Hall of Fame ceremony will follow Friday’s episode of SmackDown as WWE kicks off WrestleMania Weekend with a stacked double header.

The ceremony itself promises to be an entertaining and emotional affair, with Sharmell and Vader set to be honoured on a very busy night.

Rick and Scott Steiner will be recognised for their contributions to tag team wrestling less than 24 hours before Rick’s son Bron Breakker takes on Dolph Ziggler for the NXT Championship at Stand & Deliver.

However, a lot of attention will be on Big Poppa Pump himself, with plenty of fans intrigued by the prospect of seeing Scott with a live microphone over the biggest night of WWE’s year.

Shad Gaspard being honoured with the Warrior Award is well deserved, and seeing his wife and son there to accept it in his memory will be a special moment fans will remember for a long time.

Headlining the ceremony, The Undertaker will take his place in the Hall of Fame and his speech will be the first time he’ll truly come out of character in front of his fans.

Similarly, Vince McMahon’s speech inducting him promises to be further insight into their long friendship.
