‘Every Kid Playing Mini-Golf’: Twitter Reacts to Unbelievable Jordan Spieth Disaster

Coming into the 2022 Valero Texas Open, Jordan Spieth was the player everyone was focusing on. After all, he is the defending champion of the event. However, it seems like the pressure has got to him, or else why would a former world no.1 make a putt like that!

The writer for Sports Book wire had shared the video of Spieth trying to make the 2-foot putt in three tries.

The 2021 Valero Texas Open was Spieth’s first victory in more than two years. Since his victory at the 2017 U. S. Open, it took the current world no. 17 83 more starts to finally win a tournament. He has won the event with a two-shot lead with an overall score of 18-under 270.

With the win, he became the fifth player to win 12 PGA Tour championships before turning 28. Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Justin Thomas are the other four who share the record with Spieth.

Although he had won the Texas Open, Spieth didn’t find success in the rest of any of the events. However, his T3 finish at the 2021 Masters and 2nd position at the Open Championship was impressive. Furthermore, Spieth finished as the runner-up at the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

This only my opinion coming out of my mouth but I think he needs a new putter.

Although many tried to make of the golfer’s putting effort, many fans came to his aid with supporting comments.

The first major of the year, the Masters, is going to begin in next week. And since Spieth is part of the field, many comments were related to the event. Some thought he would win the Master next week. Meanwhile, the others used the opportunity to make jokes as well.

He’s still going to win The Masters

Probably wants to get to Augusta early.

Only two rounds have ended at the 2022 Valero Texas Open. So, it is still early to make any predictions. It takes only a hole or two to make a difference, and with 2-under, Spieth still has a chance to overturn the leaderboard. Do you think he can successfully defend the title? And how do you think his result at the Masters would be?
