Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent at WWE WrestleMania 38: Cody Rhodes, Shane McMahon, The Undertaker and more possibilities

Seth Freakin’ Rollins is facing a mystery opponent at WrestleMania 38 tonight, with WWE fans eagerly anticipating the moment the music finally hits.
Last week it was revealed Vince McMahon was choosing the former world champion’s opponent for the Showcase of the Immortals, and all will be revealed once the Visionary is in the ring in Dallas, Texas.
There has been speculation and hints for weeks about who he’ll face, ranging from members of the McMahon family to a returning star, and the rumours aren’t stopping until the last second.
It adds a layer of intrigue to a stacked card, with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair defending their respective Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships against Bianca Belair and Ronda Rousey.
Meanwhile, Kevin Owens will host a special edition of the KO Show with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, and all signs point to things getting physical between the pair.

Cody Rhodes

Former Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes is undoubtedly the forerunner in most fans’ minds heading into WrestleMania 38.
He could make his WWE return on the grandest stage years after leaving and starting up rival promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
It would certainly be a huge moment, and one fans would be delighted to see following his shock exit from Tony Khan’s company.
Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon was reportedly ‘let go’ by his own dad Vince after a divisive Royal Rumble in January, which ended any potential plans for him at WrestleMania.
However, there have been reports he’s at least in Dallas this weekend, although that could easily be to soak up the atmosphere and see his family.
Shane would certainly prompt a reaction, although it’s safe to say it wouldn’t be a positive one at this point.
The Undertaker
The Undertaker seems incredibly unlikely, but that’s not stopped fans talking about the possibility.
At the end of his Hall of Fame induction speech on Friday night, the Dead Man donned his trademark hat and coat, as fans in the building starting chanting for one more match.

‘Never say never,’ he teased, leaving fans with plenty of questions over a year after it seemed like his in-ring career was over.
WWE WrestleMania 38 airs April 2 and 3 at 1am on the WWE Network.
