Ironically, if there’s one NASCAR driver you don’t want to be around of on April Fool’s, it’s Dale Earnhardt Jr. Because the NASCAR Hall of Famer is a very calm, and persistent prankster, which is to say that he wouldn’t back down or crack despite your suspicions of a prank.

Just ask Mike Davis.

In a recent episode, or rather, before the recent episode of the Dale Jr. Download, the JR Motorsports owner and his co-host Mike Davis sat down to prepare for the show, the routine.

However, this time, considering the day, Dale Jr. and two of his producers had a remote-controlled fart machine hidden under the table. Soon, the farts began to fly off. “Excuse me, my belly,” Earnhardt Jr said. “That’s you? That’s really you?” Davis asked.

“I had some grapes this morning,” Dale Jr. said. “Grapes do that to a body?” Davis asked.

“They kinda get down there and ferment, create a lot of gas.”

And then some more farts chimed in that led Davis to say, “I think you’re pranking us.” But the two-time Daytona 500 winner kept them coming. To the point that Mike Davis was not only convinced of the situation, but he was also beginning to have fun with it, fun that last only for a while.

“Don’t do that anymore, because I…I’m going to think about this,” “That’s dangerous to hold it in. I try to tell that to Amy (Earnhardt) every day,” Dale Jr. interrupted.

“You can’t hold them in. You just gotta let them fly.”

Dale Earnhardt Jr cleared the air but Mike Davis wouldn’t believe him

Just when Mike Davis was convinced that Dale Earnhardt Jr really did have a gas problem, the NASCAR Hall of Famer revealed the trick. “April’s Fool Mike,” he said.

“No, it’s not. It’s not,” Davis retaliated.

So he took out the fart machine from under the table, showed it to his co-host, and only then would he believe that Dale Earnhardt Jr didn’t really have a gas problem for grapes fermenting in his belly, not on that at least.
