American Idol 2022 LIVE – Hollywood duets challenge gets underway after former winners made shock return last week

AMERICAN IDOL is back again this week with the “Hollywood duets challenge” kicking off tonight.

Sunday’s episode of American Idol will see contestants paired up by judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Ritchie with other stars, before a dramatic judgment day on Monday at 8pm ET.

It comes after Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Lee Dewyze, Ruben Studdard, Haley Reinhart, and Lauren Alaina appeared on last week’s show.

It also marked the end of the audition rounds for 2022.
