“He was My Childhood”: Fans left in Tears as Stone Cold Steve Austin Brings Back Attitude Era at WrestleMania

The most anticipated segment of the WrestleMania 38 match card was The KO Show where Stone Cold Steve Austin was coming as the guest.

Now, when he appeared as the guest, Kevin Owens revealed the real reason to bring him was to challenge him for a match. He wanted The Texas Rattlesnake to accept a No Holds Barred match.

Of course, Stone Cold accepted the match, and much to Kevin Owens’ shock, The Texas Rattlesnake beat him to a pulp. Not only did Kevin Owens find himself at the receiving end of a series of punches and kicks, he also found himself being Suplexed on the stage. This was one of the key moments of the match, which truly marked how strong The Texas Rattlesnake still is.

Stone Cold Steve Austin means so much to me. As a fan, he was my childhood. As an adult, he played a pivotal role in helping me advance my career. I can’t be happier that I got to see him wrestle again in person. What an epic night. #WrestleMania

However, Stone Cold Steve Austin revealed that this was his last match. He is not coming back to WWE full-time, but he still has the potential to continue making appearances in the company.

WrestleMania 38 marked a full circle for Stone Cold’s pro-wrestling career. First, his first match was at Dallas, Texas and so was WrestleMania 38.

Next, his last match prior to this was at WrestleMania XIX, where The Rock defeated him. He made his last match a WrestleMania match, which he won.

Therefore, he ended his pro-wrestling career with a victory at Dallas, Texas. What can be better than this for The Texas Rattlesnake!
