I ordered a corset-style gown for a wedding…the dressmaker did me so dirty it looks like a pair of curtains

IF there’s any occasion to get glammed up and put your best frock on, it’s a wedding.

But rather than buy a dress from the high-street, one woman, from the US, decided to place a bespoke order with a professional seamstress instead.

@imunique_doee/TiktokA US-based woman, who goes by the acronym imunique_doeei, took to TikTok and explained how she asked a seamstress to make a bespoke dress for her for an upcoming wedding[/caption]

While having a gown made to your taste guarantees no one will turn up in the same ensemble, the woman’s idea didn’t quite go to plan.

Taking to TikTok, the US-based woman, who goes by the acronym imunique_doeei, shared a snap of the flattering dress she originally showed the dressmaker as inspiration.

The red and flesh-coloured figure-hugging gown featured a stylish corset-style top which then flowed into a long skirt – complete with knee slit.

She penned: “So I needed a dress for a wedding and this is what I asked for…corset style like this…but with long sleeves.”

And social media users were left amused by the seamstress’ efforts.

“You got a curtain,” joked one.

A second commented: “Oh no! She did you dirty. I made this exact style with long sleeves too but with the main stylist.”

A third simply penned: “Oh my.”

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: “Goodness gracious,” while a fifth quipped: “I would faint.”
