But if you like to layer your jewelry, you know the struggle of getting pieces tangled together.

A woman named Raina Monet, who goes by @RainaMonet, has gained a following on social media thanks to her “girl tips” and life hacks.

As part of her series, “Girl tips I wish I knew sooner,” she recently shared a hack that will help all you jewelry-wearing ladies—and you have everything you need right at home.

“If you’re having a hard time untangling your necklaces, use a bit of olive oil to massage the knot out.”

Raina revealed that her chain was untangled within seconds thanks to the lubricant.

She also shared a second, very useful hack in the same clip.

“If you want your perfume to last all day long, apply Vaseline on your pulse points and spray your perfume on top of it.”

The main “pulse points” to be aware of when applying perfume are on the wrists, behind the ears, and at the base of the neck.

Applying Vaseline to these spots before you spray your chosen scent will allow the balm to act as an additional moisturizing lock for the scent—meaning it will stick around much longer.
