I wish I’d died from cancer because my husband left me for somebody else
DEAR DEIDRE: DOCTORS say it’s a miracle I’m alive after previously telling me I had just months to live.
But I wish I’d died because my husband left me for somebody else.
It turns out he had somebody else and they now have two children together

I’m 47 and he is 50. I got cancer in my thirties.
We were on holiday in Germany visiting family when I started to get very sick and weak.
After a scan, I was told how little time I had left.
I had radiotherapy but the outlook wasn’t good. My husband said our only option was to go to Switzerland to end my life.
I didn’t want to and soon afterwards, doctors said the radiotherapy was working.
But my husband said he couldn’t handle being with me anymore. He abandoned me.
