When Mike Tyson ‘Borrowed’ One of Elon Musk’s Rockets

SpaceX plans to release the first Starship orbital flight in May. Previously, former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson took to Twitter in 2018 to hilariously mention that he was the first to launch one of Elon Musk’s rockets.

Tyson posted a clip from ‘Mike Tyson Mysteries‘. He specifically spoke about the excitement around SpaceX launches. He said, “Don’t understand the fuss about the big rocket launch because I was the first to launch in one of @ElonMusk’s rockets.

Moreover, the clip used was also worth noting. It was from the 3rd episode of Tyson’s animated series, ‘Mike Tyson Mysteries’. In the series, Tyson is a retired boxer who solves mysteries.

In the hysterical episode Tyson ‘borrows’ Elon Musk’s rocket to fly to the moon, to solve the mystery of the universe.

The tweet was not the only time that Tyson spoke about Elon Musk and SpaceX.

Earlier, Tyson had congratulated Musk for successfully launching Falcon Heavy.

Falcon Heavy is the world’s most powerful rocket. Tyson applauded the endeavor, saying, “Congrats to Elon Musk for a successful launch.”

Likewise, a few other members of the boxing community were also associated with Musk and SpaceX.

Recently, former Filipino boxer turned politician Manny Pacquiao met SpaceX executives. The main agenda of the meeting was to provide cheap internet in the Philippines. There were also talks of building a rocket launch pad in the country.

Similarly, social media personality turned boxer Jake Paul also mentioned Musk in an Instagram post.

For his 25th birthday, Paul posted a racy photograph with his girlfriend. In the caption, ‘The Problem Child’ mentioned his goals for his 25th birthday.

The most spectacular of his goals was, “Go to outer space with Jeff, Richard, or Elon.”
